On display here is a rare jug commissioned for the importer and bottler William H White of Limerick. It was made by Arklow Pottery in Wicklow.
The jug features text inscribed on both sides. On one side, it reads: “Blue Label” John Jameson & Sons 12 Years Old Liqueur Irish Whiskey Bottled By William H. White & Co., Limerick. The other side is inscribed with: Embassy Pale Dry Amontillado The Choice Sherry Imported By William H. White & Co., Limerick.
