The Paddy Old Irish Whiskey Jug on display is one of six examples of this particular mould in our collection. There are six variations in total. This jug is one of the rarer versions, featuring a green Arklow maker’s stamp on the base — indicating it was produced in the 1950s or 1960s.
Paddy Old Irish Whiskey is a brand of blended Irish whiskey made at the Midleton distillery in County Cork, Ireland. It’s made for Sazerac which is a privately held American company. Irish Distillers owned the brand until Sazerac acquired it in 2016. Paddy is the fourth-largest selling Irish whiskey globally.
