M.D. Daly & Sons were wholesale grocers located at 7-9 Academy Street, Cork. They were most likely related to John Daly & Co, from which we feature a jug in our collection.
This water jug measures 4 inches tall. It is white with green lettering that reads “M.D. Daly & Sons, Ltd., Academy St., Cork. The Academy People” The other side reads, “The Very Best Academy After Every Test.” The base of the jug states, “Arklow Made in Republic of Ireland.”
