Corcoran’s Mineral Water Carlow manufacturing business was established in 1827 by Thomas Corcoran. Corcoran’s used natural water from a well beside Carlow Castle. Many awards were bestowed upon their products, including recognition at the International Exhibition in Dublin in 1907.
Corcoran’s Mineral Water Carlow produced a variety of products, such as Castle Lemonade, Castle Cola, and the Carlo Orange brand. Soft drink and mineral water manufacturing and bottling was a thriving industry in Carlow for generations. While red lemonade is a unique Irish beverage, Corcoran’s brown lemonade was even more distinctive.
