JUGVENTION 2008: Jim & Debbie Crowe hosted this year's gathering in Kalamazoo, Michigan; and good times were had by all at this year's Jugvention XVI.  There was a good turnout of friends, both old and new for the sale and auction, as well as the Club dinner.  Of course the hospitality suite was the place to be for the sharing of stories and photographs of everyone's collections.  Another highlight was the wonderful dinner hosted by the Crowe's at their home, where all in attendance had the opportunityto vew their extensive pub jug collection.  Thank you Jim & Deb for another job well done!

JUGVENTION 2009:  Lastyear's Jugvention took a one year hiatus.  Due to lower than usual interest, probably caused in part by the dire economic times, the decision was made to cancel the 2009 event.  Thank you to Gerald Saperstein for offering to host the 2009 Jugvention in Las Vegas.  The lack of interest did not warrant the amount of work and preparation needed to make the Jugvention a huge success.  Plans will be made to resume the annual Jugvention in 2010.
